A fun filled weekend!!

Had a celebration for Kathys birthday, which

is later on in the month!!

We had a blast at the Casino!! Kathy is

winning big :) actually, Aimee was the

Big winner!! Way to go Aim :)

Wasted away in Margaritaville!!

at Carlos O Kelly's :)

You go Aim, it has been a long day, and we

are good and Thirsty!! Chips, Salsa, and a

GOOD drink always hit the spot!!

Trip to Lansing!

 As you can see alot of leaves have fallen already,

but still alot of pretty color!

 This was a awesome scene!  Could of stood here all

day, very relaxing view..

 This is a swag that Rick gave me that was Donna's!

She had these and never used them that I know of, they

are beautiful, so I decided I was going to use them!

 I know she was out there with me, as I kept making

sure they were pretty much spaced equal and everything

looked right, and that is NOT me, that is my

" sister "!!  Sure do miss her!!

 I put a string of lights on them so I can't wait

until tonight so i can see what it looks like..

 I still have the Ole Crow she bought

me as well!!  Our witch will be with us

for a couple more years as well :)

Picking Elderberries

Ok, so i put these pictures on here backwards

What can I say. This is Loyds bucket, we have along

way to go yet!!

This is my bucket, as you can see Loyd is better

at this than I am, only because I have Never done

this before...

These are the stems after we have destemmed

the Elderberries, we have to pick all those

little tiny berries off the stems. Very time

consuming, at least for me....We have three big

bags of these to do.....Gonna take awhile...

This is Loyd working on de-stemming them.

we were wearing plastic gloves, cause they will

stain your fingers and it will NOT wash off...

This is what they look like when Loyd cut them

off the bush.. You can see how tiny they are.

I am going to cook them down and make them into

jelly. I have never had this, but Loyd says it is really good,

he used to do this at home as a child. I'm anxious

to see what it taste like....I'm excited :)
